What the hell is going at the World Bank? Paul Wolfowitz's rule at the World Bank may be coming to an end.The White House messaged today that they are willing to consider a change in leadership at the World Bank. This is very kind of the grand puppet masters to allow the bank to implement a change.
Mr. Wolfowitz is accused of showing inappropriate favoritism to his girlfriend Shaha Riza who is also a bank employee.This is turning out to be a true “pay for performance" issue. The only problem is that she is receiving “pay for performance” that occurred outside of the workplace.
Pauly should resign from his position as the lead technocrat at the World Bank. He demonstrated a major lapse in judgment and should remove himself to prevent this scandal from affecting morale at the bank. He should have remembered the ancient Chinese secret that goes like this “don’t eat where you shit”.
